From the Rising Star PTA

1) PTA General Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 6:30 p.m. in the Rising Star Library: Dr. John McKinney, Director of Family and Student Services, and Mrs. Darby, Principal, will be speaking on SMSD's Diversity Initiative. We will also be gearing up for APEX fundraiser. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

2) Fall/Halloween Party Planning will be held directly after the PTA meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the RS Library. Come join the fun of planning the room parties. We will break out in groups according to grade level.
