Reminders / Other Info

• Thank you for preparing your kids for the spelling test today! Overall they did really well.

• Please make sure you are checking your child's take home folder each night, emptying it, and sending it back the next day. Many of the folders are getting pretty full of papers and I want the kids to be sharing the work they do at school with you.

• The bright blue January reading logs will be due next week. Remember that ideally your child should be reading for 10-15 minutes each night. If your child's reading log is misplaced, let me know and I will get him/her another one.

• This week is Kindness Week, so we are doing spirit days to celebrate!

• Tuesday: BE SUPER kind! Dress as your favorite hero

• Wednesday: Team UP for Kindness- Favorite Sport/Team Day

• Thursday: Thermo Fisher Spirit Shirts

• Friday:  Red Friday

This Week in Reading

We will be taking the Unit 3 Sight Word Assessment at the end of this week. Your child should be able to read all of the words on the following list. This would be a great thing to review at home. I will also send a hard copy of this list home with the kids tomorrow.
