January Reading Logs

January reading logs are due tomorrow! The new February log went home today. If you ever misplace the monthly reading log or fill it up and need a new one, don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for your commitment to helping your child read at home. :)

Valentine's Day Plans

The party will take place in the classroom from 2:15-2:45 on Feb. 14th. Parents are welcome to come join in on the fun!

Your child does not need to make a Valentine box to bring to school. In the past, I’ve found that there are always a few kids who don’t bring boxes and students tend to get upset if they think their box is not as cool as someone else’s. To avoid those issues, we will be making valentine bags in class! :) Please do not feel obligated, but if you would like to donate materials for our valentine bags, here is a link to a sign up sheet. Feel free to add anything or send in any other decorations you think we could use.

Lastly, if your child would like to bring in valentine’s for their classmates, they are welcome to do so. We will pass out valentine’s before the party. If they bring in valentine’s, they must bring enough for all 18 of their classmates. Below is a list of all the students in our class in case your child wants to address their valentine’s individually.
