We have a very bust week this week so please bear with me!

Wonders Weekly Assessment

We had a sub on Friday, so the assessment did not get done. Additionally, I feel that the kids could benefit from an extra couple days of reviewing last weeks reading material. That being said, we will not have a weekly assessment this Friday. Instead, we will work on last weeks assessment in small groups to reinforce our test taking strategies and the material. I will incorporate this week's material as we go and will determine whether the kids are ready to go on next week by Friday. (If your student does repeated reading those will also not come home until the end of this week.)

Spelling Test

We will still go on with our spelling test and have a regular test this Friday.

MAP Testing

This Tuesday is our Math MAP test and this Thursday is our reading MAP test. The kids have all set goals as to what they hope to score, so please ask them about those goals AND how they plan to achieve them. Make sure your kiddo gets lots of sleep and eats breakfast on these days.

Headphones

We are having a major headphone scarcity in our classroom. There are about 5 kids who have headphones, so if you have any at home or are able to go out and get some for your kid that would be great. MAP testing is a real challenge without headphones.
