Updates and Reminders

  • Don't forget to sign and return the yellow form that went home in your child's take home folder last week. This allows your child to access apps that we plan to use in class.   • We will be taking our fall DIBELS and MAP tests this week. The purpose of these assessments are to provide us with data to better understand where your child is. This information will help us determine the best way to support your child's learning, so that they can grow as much as possible this year! Please make sure your child gets a good nights sleep before these tests and that they eat breakfast that morning. Below are the days we will testing:

DIBELS - Monday, Aug. 26th and Tuesday, Aug. 27th

Reading MAP - Thursday, Aug. 29th

Math MAP - Thursday, Sept. 5th

What We Are Learning Right Now!

Over the past two weeks we have been reviewing kindergarten skills and concepts, building our classroom community, and learning about expectations in our school and classroom. This week we will be diving into first grade curriculum! Below are overviews of the things we will be focusing on this week.
